Vivo X9 and X9 Plus officially launched with Dual 20MP+8MP FRONT Camera Setup!

Vivo has finally reveled the Vivo X9 and X9 Plus along with Vivo XPlay 6 yesterday.

Unlike the usual dual-camera method used by Huawei, the Vivo X9 and X9 Plus come with dual front cameras of 20MP and 8MP, while Huawei and other manufacturers focus on dual rear camera only.

The basic X9 measures a 5.5-inch, FullHD panel of the Super AMOLED variety. Under the hood, X9 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 coupled with 4GB of RAM. It will be available in 64GB and 128GB storage models. The dual-SIM Vivo X9 runs FuntouchOS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It sports a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button. The battery capacity of X9 is 3050mAh.

For X9 Plus model, it comes with a bigger size and screen measures a 5.88-inch full-HD IPS display. Underneath the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 along with 6GB of RAM. The Vivo X9 Plus will be available in just 128GB storage model and has a slightly bigger battery capacity of 4000mAh.

For camera, the main camera is a 16MP unit with an aperture of f/2.0, PDAF and a single LED flash. Both variant also comes with an AKM4376 DAC and a fingerprint reader.

The Vivo X9 has been priced at CNY 2,798 (roughly RM1748) for the 64GB model and the 128GB model is priced at CNY 2,998 (roughly RM1911). Unfortunately, Vivo has yet to announce the price of X9 Plus, but they promised that it may arrive before 26 December.
